Automotive Service Advisor / Writer

Summary
As an Automotive Service Advisor at Charlie's, you will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing service appointments and providing expert advice on vehicle maintenance. This position is essential for maintaining our reputation for high-quality service and fostering long-term relationships with our customers.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist them with their service needs in a friendly and professional manner.
- Schedule service appointments and manage the workflow in the service department.
- Provide customers with detailed explanations of recommended services and repairs.
- Act as a liaison between customers and technicians to ensure clear communication regarding vehicle issues.
- Monitor the progress of vehicles in the shop and keep customers informed about their status.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and customer interactions.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within an automotive dealership is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on building relationships.
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics is essential.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to customers and team members.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Active Drivers License
